Design/Build - Using this method, we'll associate with an architectural firm and their consultants to design a facility that meets your needs for program and budget. A lump-sum bid or GMP will be given to you for approval before we start construction. You, as the Owner, will have one point of contact and responsibility for design and construction.

 

Characteristics:

  • Design and construction is provided by one entity.
  • Selecting an organization by evaluating experience and past performance is one of the most effective ways to build a good team relationship.


Benefits:

  • May allow the project to be completed faster.
  • Allow the owner to select his design and construction organization by their qualifications and past performance.
  • Removes check and balance between architect and contractor.
  • Owner does not receive independent information on design requirements, costs, quality or performance of work.
